The Cancet Lithium Project — James Bay, Québec, Canada
An early-stage lithium pegmatite exploration property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Québec, located in proximity to the Adina-Galinée Project.
Property Size: 19,960 hectares (199.6 km²)
Mineral Claims: 395
Target: Spodumene-bearing lithium pegmatites
Exploration Stage: Surface stripping, drilling, and metallurgical test work completed
Drilling Completed: 5,216 m
Traditional Territory: Wemindji and Chisasibi
Geological Prospectivity: Located along a prospective lithium-bearing pegmatite corridor in the James Bay region. Surface stripping on the main showing has exposed granitic pegmatite hosting coarse spodumene crystals, confirming the fertility of the system. Additional targets identified to the east and west of the main showing offer potential to materially expand the mineralization footprint.
Exploration Maturity: Surface stripping, channel sampling, and 5,216 m of diamond drilling completed on the main showing. Preliminary metallurgical test work indicates high lithium recoveries achievable through simple crushing of mineralized material.
